A stunning highboy in the Jacobean style, made by Rockford Furniture Company, founded in 1876 by Swedish settlers. The piece is constructed of a solid hardwood frame with paneling along the front. It features beautiful carvings throughout, as well as ''scratch carvings,'' which are shallow carvings to add more motifs/decorations. Dovetail joinery further speaks to the quality of the piece. Its shelves and drawers offer lots of storage, perfect for storing fine china, stemware, etc.
