Vintage Hand-Carved Jharokha Mirror

An exquisitely hand-carved mirror in the Jharokha style. The piece is a stand-out piece of architectural salvage. Originally an enclosed balcony window in an Indian palace was repurposed into this unique mirror.
The Jharokha is a window projecting from the wall face of a building, in an upper story, overlooking a street, market, court, or any other open space—a common feature in classical Indian architecture, most prominent in Rajasthan.
